beach + perfect summer day = bliss

Since we were in Sydney, it was only right to embrace a few of the famous cliches. Once the Opera House and Bridge had been done as part of the wedding... the post reception party was at the Opera Bar/Kitchen, either way with a margarita in hand at all times it was a magnificent way to finish the day. Thankfully come Sunday morning we woke up feeling good, feeling ready to hit up Doyles and some good ol' fashioned fish and chips at Watson's Bay followed by a drive along the coast with periodic stops for, well, more food, but small walks and adventures as well. What a spectacular weekend...

This weekend we flew to Sydney to see some very dear friends get married. These very stylish and elegant sydney-siders did not disappoint in the slightest. The wedding was a blissful celebration of the two of them and everything they mean to each other. The vows took place on a small rocky island off of a beach in Sydney. It was a perfect day, and after moving to the reception it became even more incredible as we sat in a stunning restaurant overlooking the beach with delicious food and wine abundant. A was on all important MC duties, the father of the bride taking the speeches getting laughs all round and the groom not leaving a dry eye in the house. It was a beautiful day beyond words, I do not even think the few snaps we took do it justice...
