well it is official. a mr + mrs we now be. after a rather chaotic month trying to get everything done in hanoi with the hundreds of things requiring organisation, thought and time (read. reducing sleeping time) we made it onto the plane. back to adelaide. to glorious weather and magnificent people. it was a whirlwind week. i am sure that everyone says the same thing. but in all honesty, i blinked and almost missed it. now (almost a whole month later) all of the organising, running about, and not having enough time to do everything i wanted to do and see everyone we wanted to see, seems like a fuzzy memory and sitting down to browse through our photos takes us back to what, by all accounts, was a spectacular day.
adelaide pulled out a perfect day. family gathered as we readied for a rather special day. there were some minor hick ups in the readying but this seems an essential part of any wedding day and they certainly did not dampen a thing. all in all it was a blissfully happy day filled with more love than we could have imagined. the ceremony was beautiful with incredible girls standing next to us, and honouring us with beautiful readings. celebrating with family and dear friends was wonderful. the food was delicious. dancing was high intensity. if only we could have slowed the day down and made it last just a bit longer.
many people have asked for photos so i am posting some random shots from the day. perhaps i will put some more up later but at the moment we are busy reliving all the fun we had in tasmania through some pretty spectacular shots. we will be sure to share with you all.
we are back. back to work. back to life. back to chilly overcast hanoi. it is all a bit sad, we miss the lazy afternoons in sunny tasmania. that is right sunny and tasmania. same sentence. we also miss all of our friends and family who we did not get to spend nearly enough time with. what a whirlwind month. but one of the most spectacular and wonderful months of our lives.
we are already crazy busy with work and catching up with many other incredible friends here in hanoi. however. just as soon as we get through sorting all of our photos we will be sure to post and share the last month with you. soon!
