way way west in europe

July has been an especially busy month in the most wonderful kind of way. We have been innundated with wonderful friends and family, meaning that we have been busy socialising and exploring Oxford. We even managed to make it to London for the weekend.

We do have a few last posts from Iceland to share with you all. After our explorations along the south coast we aimed west towards the fjords and spent a couple of nights in Breidavik, a beautiful beachside farm on the most western point of Europe.

This truly spectacular beach was a lovely break, although not exactly a tropical swimming beach and the day of driving along gravel roads was pretty intense, although the latter equally stunning and some photos of soon. This impressive peninsula was also home to some incredible cliff faces with hundreds and thousands of sea birds, including Puffins... stay tuned!

Below. Looking down over the secluded farm hotel where we spent two incredibly peaceful nights.
