August has seen us away more weekends than not. Which is certainly not something you will ever find me complaining about, but has left little time for keeping in touch, posting photos and keeping our lives in order. This is probably why after our first weekend at home in many, our living somewhat resembles a Chinese laundry. So here are some snaps from last weekend, I will soon resume with the rest of our photos from Portugal and Sardinia!
We spent a weekend in the nearby Cotswolds, with my parents enjoying nearby pubs, farms, picking blackberries, and watching Australia dominate in the hockey and netball at the Commonweatlh Games.
The following weekend we spent at Wilderness, a pretty fantastic festival not far from home. There was some phenomenal music, delicious food, great friends, beautiful nature, spectacular pyrotechnics in the form of an epic bonfire, and in true English style: weather that changed faster than you could get your poncho on and off.
